Default Should I be worried about a street tune?

Finally taking the dive and modding the car, i've got some cash saved up for a build just in case though.

The only tuner my area (omaha, ne) doesn't use a dyno to tune, he street tunes cars. Should this be a concern? A lot of sti guys in the area go to him for tunes, but they don't seem too familiar with the 2008+ engine problems either, so i'm not sure. I guess a good tune is a good tune though.

What do you guys think? Anyone know a good place for a dyno tune in the midwest if the street tune doesn't work out?

Street tunes are good man. Some say better than dyno because dyno replicates ideal conditions which you should know will not always have dd. Stop and go traffic, different weather conditions humidity and what not. You can get a car dyno tuned and it could drive like sh!t in daily traffic. Just food for thought.

Street tune > Dyno tune for safety. More likely to make power on a dyno since you get instant feedback.
