Yep clean them with maf spray and make sure an after market air fikter hasn't been installed the oil based filters will foul a maf out.

+1 for cleaning the MAF with spray and making sure everything is connected. There are some good write ups on here and nasioc.com on how to clean it right (very simple, just need to avoid soaking the sensor housing). Also, ditch any K&N or whatever crap filter. OEM is fine, you just need to change it more often because it actually catches dirt and also won't foul your MAF prematurely.

I've only had two CELs with this car, and it's been the rich condition one because of a major boost leak when a IC hose clamp slipped off, and the MAF/intake temp sensor code where my dumbass forgot to clip the connector back in after swapping air filters
