Default Clutch creaking

I assume this noise is just normal-

You can kind of feel it through the pedal... sort of a sponge feel when pushing slowly.

Ignore the clicking sound (you can hear it at 4-6 seconds, and then I repeat it after letting out the clutch and back in).

Hard to hear and doesn't sound like creaking but I would say normal. You have a rotating disc. You're pushing slowly and it scrapes while you do it which is why you should be in out while driving, not anywhere in between except at a start or shifting. Perhaps you're hearing the throw-out bearing. You might hear that anytime pressing the pedal. It's not a great sign, but not particularly meaningful unless its really loud. Not much you are going to do about it either till you need to anyway, Then you'll generally be doing a clutch.

IMHO, to justify its' price, the S209 needs to perform at least as well as my moderately powered 05 built beater, and even that might not convince me to buy one cause my next STI isn't likely to be moderately powered.

I'm putting IAG back in here. Engine wise the car hase been trouble free for 56K. My STI is nearing the 60K minimum JJ led meto expect from a 2618 piston equipped block and it's still running strong.

My '12 did the same thing. I lubed the upper part of the clutch pedal (the part that goes through the rubber grommet in the firewall), and after a while the sound just suddenly stopped. Not sure if the lube did anything, or what, but it just wasn't there one day. I think it may have been temperature/humidity dependent, but can't confirm that either.

Default Clutch creaking

Had an issue with my clutch. Took it to the dealer to inspect. I mentioned that it could possibly be related to TSB 12-190-15. The dealer took care of it. They replaced the clutch assembly under warranty. Additional discussion can be found here Clutch pedal noise... Issue or not. What you hear may or may not be covered under warranty. It might even just go away on its own. However just sharing you how I dealt with my clutch concerns.

Our 2016 Hyper Blue is doing this we took it in to the dealership and they ordered a whole new Master and Slave Cylinder. Will be taking it in shortly for the repair. We will let you know if it fixed the issue.

Thanks, I will look into the TSB. Worth a shot. The pedal feels really spongy, especially when engaging slowly, and sounds like a haunted house door opening/closing.

There's a good video on Last Human Garage on YouTube on how to lube to fix this.

Thanks mike. I watched that video and lubed it up (the firewall plug above the gas pedal).

Let's see what happens.

well the sound came back so I took it to the dealer. They did the same thing as I did but went a littler further by taking a few parts off.

All gone now!

Which dealer did you take it to? My clutch is making a popping sound every time I push the pedal in and out.
