Default Tuned on 5w30, do I need a refresh going to 5w40?

Just curious if anyone has noticed a difference going from 5w30 to 5w40 oil if tuned with 5w30 in engine? I guess my question has more to do with the engines ability to stay within the tunes parameters safely without needing a tune refresh given the added viscosity resistance. I'm stage 2 with EL header.

You don't need a tune for oil.... Tuned on 5w30, do I need a refresh going to 5w40?

Nothing to worry about, you will be fine with either oil. You do not need to adjust the tune for something like that. The only time a tune needs to be adjusted or redone is if you are so to speak changing the way the engine breathes or controls power.
