What are your Bearing clearances at. I have +1 mm on my bearings to allow for more oil and a 12MM pump to go along with my oil cooler. When I track my car I will be around 50PSI as well, as I push 240F+ on oil temp. had this setup for almost 5 years now with no issues.

Normal cruising I will be at 16PSI on idle and 60PSI at 2700RPM plus with oil temp around 180-190F.

Do not know the bearing clearances. Today I tried removing the cooler from the system. I did this by removing oil lines from cooler and connecting them together with an an10 male to male. This way I can see oil pressure of the sandwich plate and oil lines. Without the cooler and oil up to full temp oil pressure will rise to between 70 and 75 psi. Pressure was while in fourth gear and pulled to 6000 RPMs. This proves I have a 20 to 25 psi pressure drop when ran through cooler. I'm at a point of uncertainty on what to do.

Personally, I'd put together your own cooler setup with a different core. I like Fluidyne's cores, especially their Therm-HX models as they are made to keep the pressure drop low. They are big, but work well.

I used this on my old SHO, which is almost the size of a stock GD intercooler:
