Default Can someone help me identify new Blouch turbo?

Not too long I ordered a Blouch TD05H-20G, and just received "it" today... after examining it, there's nothing that says 20G anywhere on it, nor is there anything labeled Blouch. Although, after looking at it, it looks identical to a Blouch 18G I saw not too long ago... can someone tell me if I'm crazy, or if in fact this is not a 20G. Here's a few pics:

Thanks in advance!

-Brandon

Well, I would have to agree with you it doens't look like a TD06 compressor housing at all. I had a blouch TD06 18G and the hotside looks very similar, but my TD06 housing looked waay different. Also it looks like the oil return line is going the wrong way as well, it should be facing directly down to meet the oil return hose. Maybe its a TD05 18G???

Edit: misread your first that you ordered a TD05, looks like a TD05 compressor to me, it does look allot like my 18G hotside though, I dunno.

Oil return is in the right spot. The silver lines are the coolant pipes. It looks alot like my FP 18g that has the td05/h and the cold side looks very close to the same size as well. Hard to tell from a pic though. Got any clear pics of the stamped info?

Not sure if you did this, but if your camera has a 'macro' focus option, make sure and put that on before taking close ups. They should come out much more clear.

Actually posted this over on Nasioc, and got an answer:
Can someone help me identify new Blouch turbo? - NASIOC

^^^As it turns out, Blouch is now using the same compressor cover on both their 18G & 20G turbos. Which makes sense, as Blouch actually has a 20G pic up on their site that looks identical:
Blouch Turbo Inc. - Our performance turbo upgrades and rebuilds

I could tell the hotside was correct, as I went with the small TD05H 7cm2 hotside, but apparently the only real way a person can tell the external difference of a newer Blouch 18G vs 20G is "the 18G compressor wheel has an inducer of 1.985" and the 20G has an inducer of 2.073." With proper clearances the id of the compressor inlet should be approximately 2.015" while the 20G will be closer to 2.103."

^^^That was verified via Mike at Blouch. Mike also shot me a PM and informed me it was a 20G, as he could tell based on the wall thickness of the compressor inlet.

Which after looking at a newer 18G over here:
My new Blouch??? TD05H-18G 8cm2 looks different - NASIOC

^^^The inlet wall on the 18G does look a little thicker.

Actually, I can't make out what the stamp says up close and personal

The camera is fine, the stamps really are just that blurry.

Blouch now uses their own compressor cover/housing, hence why no clearly labeled markings. I found they did this to help with fitment, and I'm sure to save on costs. Supposedly it fits better than a standard MHI housing, I guess we'll see soon.

Really threw me off that they now use the same cover for both 18G & 20G turbos.
