I would like to see dyno curves on all the turbo kits shown here...especially this one:

so gt52 and 49 is direct bolt on stock sti? if so what's the hp number on those?
and are they better than gt30r?

questions,
is gt52 and gt49 bigger turbo than 20g or green? it seems like they are based on 20g with some gt30r....
Do you need a built engine for these turbos? Or what other support parts are necessary?

how much for just the turbo itself without injector and fuel pump?

Good questions my friend

The Element GT49 is basically a green. You will see 20lbs by about 3500 RPMs. The GT49 and 52 are both water & oil cooled for bettering cooling and longevity. The GT52 is a non-ball bearing turbo that offers incredible spooling characteristics for the size. Comparible to a GT30R without being rotated...This bad boy has barely noticeable lag and offers 20lbs of boost by 3700 RPMs.

Both turbos are bigger than the 20G, but the GT49 is the same size as the Green. They both also come with everything you need to bolt on minus the gaskets for the Up-pipe and Down-pipe.

GT49 $1649 shipped
GT52 $1899 shipped

We also have a GT49 that was used for under 2k miles from one of our local customers that has now ordered a GT52. No shaft play and our techs give it the thumbs up! We are selling this on behalf of our customer so if you would like to talkt to him that is fine as well. He is asking that we sell it for $1400 shipped. All parts included.

thanks for the response.

So gt49 has same characteristic as green? which one has better top end which spools faster?

it sounds like gt52 is made for built engine. so i'll probably stick with gt49.

Could you tell me what i need to get in order to run gt49 safe for street? and do i need ewg as well?
