IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Your page says the Spec C type RA wheels are forged, my source in Japan sent me a picture showing they're cast Enkeis using the new MAT method. They are very strong and light for cast wheels. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | There's a new wheel on the '07 STI special edition that it is an Enkei cast aluminum wheel. It looks like a knock off of the current STi wheel design. The Spec C and 04-06 STi rims are forged. Last edited by TheBigE; 04-07-2006 at 10:26 AM. |

Very nice wheels and they look incredible in your pics but I don't know if I could spend 2000 dollars on cast wheels, well unless the casting process was something pretty incredible. |

| www.Subie.tv is niiice | If I am not mistaken Enkei, uses some of the best casting technology. Assuming you are right about the wheels being made by Enkei, I have seen Enkei wheels take some serious abuse. When the same abuse was dished out to a set of Volk Racing wheels (which are wheels people think the world of), the Volks bent, breaking the bead on the tire, which caused the tire to go flat. You can imagine that the owner of the Volks was not happy. In fact, he will only purchase Enkei wheels for his vehicles as a result of this experience. Take it for what its worth.
