Well we have proof positive that the stock 5-spoke are +55.
2008 stock wheel offset

I wish the BBS were +52 as noted in the OP, but I don't think that is the case... though at one point I thought I read about them being different. Someone with those wheels needs to check.

I just had South Coast Subaru Verify on 08 they had on the lot with the BBS wheels. The offst is in fact a +53

Funny I have the BBS wheels, and there is a 55 on the inside of the wheel, but it might be something other then offset.. I'll pull a wheel off and double check!
