Any chance I can get one with M10 internal threads?

I do supply the Darkside.
Does your Evo have a reverse ring like the STis? I have to know how much useable thread you have on the top of the lever before any obstructions. If I dont cut recesses and drill the proper length of thread, it will never fit right and there's on chance to fit it if it's cut round.
Pics would help me with this. You can email them to my address which is posted in the #1 post.

Let me know if you have questions!

Email sent with pics. There is no reverse lockout on my Evo since it a five speed. What sizes are shown in the pics above where the knobs are installed?

2.0" diameter is standard size. Conversation moved to email for now.

I've got FIVE 2.0" black spheres with brass inserts completed and ready for buyers. Only 2 are claimed so far!

Is there any room on top of the brass threaded part (i.e. inside the shift knob) so that I could add some lead weights to make it heavier? I currently have a TWM stainless shifter knob and I love the heavier feel of it. Makes shifting with a short shifter easier. I wouldn't mind trying one of these out if I can make it a lot heavier than 105 grams.

No, there is no room. The knob is only 1.85" tall, and the brass insert go into it 1.6" deep, with 0.6" being recessed for the reverse mechanism. The only way to add weight would be to get a larger diameter up to 2.25", or to get an aluminum one from me.

I'm interested in a white sphere for an 04 sti, but I too am worried that the knob will not be heavy enough for my liking. Any way to add some more weight to mine? If you can strap at least another 50 grams on there, I'm in...let me know what you think

Your 04 Sti stock knob weighs in at only 69 grams.
My 2.0" Copolymer/Brass Sti Sphere weighs 105 grams
My 2.25" Copolymer/Brass Sti Sphere weighs ~140 grams
The other option is to get a collar below the knob which would bring the 2.0" diameter sphere to about 130-135 grams (estimated), and would look like this: (available in white also)

There is not really a way for me to add any more weight to this type of knob besides changing the size or shape.

I can do the M10x1.25 Mitsu threads on one of these for you. 44mm diameter is actually really small though (only 1.73") so you may want to consider going with 2" diameter or at least 1.9".

I have white material, but Ill need to know the details of your shift lever. Does it have a ring for reverse or not? Are the threads 1.25" tall like the 5spd Evos?
