The stock 05 knob is 69 grams. This knob is 105 grams. Its about 35% heavier than your stock one.

The avatar pic is simply the Black copolymer sphere. Comfort is a personal preference/opinion, but almost everyone that bought one said they love the copolymer knobs. This material also does not get hot or cold like metal/titanium, so yes it will be more comfortable because it wont burn or freeze your hand.

It weighs MORE than the 2004/2005 STi knob. It weighs LESS than the 2006/2007 STi Knob.

It is 2.0" diameter, not sure what the stock knob diameter is. I think mine is a bit wider, but also shorter so it shortens the throw a bit.

Wow there is a difference in years? I think I forgot to mention I was referring to the stock Ti knob. Arent they all the same? So back to my original question, the copolymer is lighter and thinner than the stock Ti option knob? Thanks

I dont know everything about the other shift knobs, especially ones I've never seen before. Are you referring to this STi Ti knob??

I dont know how much that knob weighs so I cant tell you if its lighter or heavier than mine. It looks to be between 1.8- 2.0 " diameter so it will probably be about the same diameter as mine, or slightly smaller. I hope that helps. Sorry I can't be more exact with my answers.
