How does the brass attach to the copolymer? Is there a chance the two could separate?

Get the TiC group buy and one of these knobs for the ultimate shifter setup! lol

No, there is most likely no way you could ever separate the brass from the copolymer if you tried (unless you end up destroying one of them).
I use a coarse thread with an interference fit so the two pieces need to be joined with a strap wrench and about 70 pounds of torque. Don't worry, itll be 1 piece forever
