You could always use automotive grade paint to fill the grooves, let it try for a few minutes and use some thinner to remove the excess.

The black alum. knobs are great. They're a near perfect weight The only downside I can think of is that they do not bounce nearly as well as Chris' copolymer knobs Before you ask...yes, one of them rolled off the desk in the shop last week and well you get the idea

The engraving looks KILLER, its absolutely stellar on the white knobs with black paint. It is even sexier on the alum knobs

And yes, after I realized that it bounces Ive been demoing it to everyone (and no, it is not a customer knob)

My buddy Alex has access to a laser engraver, so I might be able to offer knobs with shift patterns soon. The only issue is making the knob tighten up on the car in the right position so the engraving is not upside down or crooked. As soon as this is solved, I will be able to offer engravings for additional cost.

Anyone interested in an engraving, please PM me. This group buy is being offered for the plain knobs right now

Is that a shift knob pictured or a paper weight? I was over at a friends and I remember seeing something similar on his desk.

Everyone in the group buy:
I am now accepting orders for these shiftknobs via paypal.

To submit paypal payment, please follow these steps to include ALL the following info so I know who you are on the forum, and what you are ordering.

My paypal: cmattessich@optonline.net
Amount: (refer to your name on Post #1 for price)
Subject: Order for group buy knob
Note: (copy & paste exact name of knob next to your name in post #1)
[should read "Black Anodized STi Sphere or WRX Sphere"]
Put your IWSTI username
Attach your shipping address

If you are missing one piece of info, it will be difficult for me to properly process your order. It will also result in time-consuming email to you to get everything straight so be precise.

I will ship out the knob as soon as paypal clears as long as the post office is still open that day.
Shipping is US First Class Mail with Insurance.

coat the threads in RTV sealer (as a thick, thread locker). once the knob is as tight as it can get yet still lined up right, let it set for 24 hours for the RTV to cure.

but then you can never remove the knob. That would cause problems if you ever had to remove the console or change the lever
