DING DING DING! Yeah I buy the raw stuff. They have a fully automated system that blends the fuel from the raw ingredients. The get all their ingredients in huge bulk shipments. Don't ask them to show you how they blend the fuel though. They won't show you.

I want to know if I add either methonal or washer fluid to my sti stock intercooler spray bottle in the trunk, will this cool down the top mount better than distilled water only.. Can any additive hurt my car either mechanically or appearance wise// thanks phil

I'm sure if you sprayed enough methanol directly onto your intercooler, over about 5 years, you MIGHT see some effects on the aluminum. the effect over water would be negligible. Alcohol evaporates at a lower temperature, so meth wouldn't sit on the TMIC as long as water would. What works better I do not know, but it's probably not worth the hassle. Use the meth injection in your car, the evaporative cooling properties of water combined with the oxygen molecule of the meth serving as ADI will be better than any form of spray onto your top mount.

I buy methanol from the race gas shop, $2.00 per gallon. Distilled water from Walmart for 0.79. Snow's boost juice is for chumps...

Where do I find HEET? Is that a windshield wiper fluid? HEET sounds like it might be best for my needs. Does anyone use HEET in thier meth injection system?

HEET will be in any autozone, walmart, or whatever. I for get what exactly it is for, maybe as a de-icer or something.

Your comment on Propane stores is right on. They have methonal to purge newly vaccumed tanks. Also aids in melting frozen valves. They always have barrles of the stuff. My company has about 3 at each facility

HEET is sold at every gas station and department store here in Alaska. Maybe not so "down south"? I am running HEET for about 8000 miles now, 80/20 mix with distilled water, at 27psi boost. Works like a dream. HEET is 99% methanol by content, the rest is engine coolant, such small amounts will not hurt your engine, but will show up on the oil analysis if you have it done. AKWRX from NASIOC is at 75,000 miles now, no problems with HEET whatsoever.

I buy it locally at a gas station for $2.25 gallon+$1 gallon for distilled water. So $1.65 a gallon of 50/50. Beats $25 a gallon
