Default Those with Perrin FMIC and meth, where did you tap the nozzle?

I have a Perrin W/I system and am buying a Perrin FMIC, I looked at a pic of the intercooler and the blow off valve piece is right at the end of the pipe that goes into the intake manifold.

I want to tap the nozzle after the blow off value tube but doesnt look there is any space there to do so...thinking I might have to relocate the blow off valve part back a bit to make room for the meth injection nozzle...

So you're saying you want to tap the WI in the pipe that the BOV is on? If so do not do that.

i think that you want to put the nozzle as close to the throttle body as you possibly can.

Yes my thoughts exactly.....approximatley 6 inches away from the throttle body for Best direct flow. BTW JPH, loving that favorite mod of yours!

FWIW, Aquamist recommends putting the nozel as far from the throttle body as you can (post-IC) in order to give it a better chance to mix evenly with the air.

I am aware though that there is a chance WI doesn't play nice with some BOVs and therefore might be better positioned post-BOV.

I understand that I want the nozzle post BOV but the BOV part on the piping is right at the end where the intake mani is...if I put the nozzle further back then it would be pre-BOV and I dont want that...

here is a picture so you guys can understand better what I am talking about...you can see below that the piece of pipe that comes off for the BOV is right at the end and then there is the coupler that connects to the intake mani, leaving no room to tap the nozzle....what to do???

i know what you're talking about because i have the perrin fmic and meth injection.
my nozzle is tapped right after the coupler...i think it's right next or behind the blow off valve pipe.
it won't affect anything though it'll be ok...
just make sure you measure it out first cause i made the hole too close and had to retap..if you make it too close the nozzle will hit the hotside of the fmic piping (the piece right under it going into the turbo)

install it all, then make a mark.

FWIW, I just tapped mine (APS) pre-BOV because I didn't like any of the other locations. Just going to keep an eye on the BOV and make sure it remains in good working condition.

I have this exact setup with the Aquamist and we put the nozzle on the last section of straight pipe just before the last bend into the intake. FWIW, this is exactly where Richard (Aquamist) and Bailey (tuner) told us to install it using this system. It does not need to go post BPV/BPV since all injection immediately stops at boost dump, and about 10-12" in front of the TB ensures adequate length for total atomization and mix of the charge.

I'm sure there are other oipinions, but when Richard speaks, I listen. Also, I have had it this way for almost 2 years and the BPV still works like it did the day I bought it - every now and then take it off, hit it with a little brakekleen, grease it up, and it's good for another 6 months.

mine is about 4 inches away from the coupler to the manifold.

on the bottum so it is kind of stealthy, and is about 10-12 inches from the TB.

I just got to LMAO (in a friendly way). You have an engine bay that looks like that and you want to be stealthy?

I don't, but if you look at BPB's picture above, it would be just to the left of his passenger's side CC, almost on top, slightly on the firewall side. I'm not into stealth, I'm into easy installation and access.
