based on what you said in the extra science section, would meth be bad in the long run on your engines because of its corrosivity to aluminum

i would have to say "no" to that being that the internals are coated with oil which will take the brunt of the corrosion hit.

that is the reason why you would want to run a high quality motor oil, (i use Amsoil), and change it more often than you are told to.

example: my motor oil may be good for 7500 miles before another change is required, but i still change it at 3000 miles if i have been using my "meth map" for that oil change interval.

(i have two maps for my car that Doug from TopSpeed created for me. if i run my "pump map" i am not using the meth injection. in that case, i may run the oil over 3000 miles - if i use the "meth map," i change the oil at 3000 miles at the latest. also, you should always check your oil frequently regardless of if you have a meth injection system or not. good practice. )

Agreed.

also the meth is probably atomized (sp?) by the time it enters the intake mani and the engine so its is mixed with the air. It is not like the meth is in liquid for hitting the aluminum.

The water/meth fully is broken down by the time it's used up in the combustion chamber. There would have to be water/meth residue still in the combustion chamber AFTER combustion has taken place and also after the exhaust stroke has vacated the chamber as well. Then, it would have to make it past your rings to get to any other part of the motor. That would require so much excessive water/meth (or a leak when not running) that your car would run like crap. Only then would you have the poss of water/meth issues/damage in your motor.

None the less, keep your oil fresh esp if you are running it hard (which I would assume you are doing otherwise the water/meth would be a waste of time/$. Actually, your STI would be a waste if you arent running it hard at times.)

if adding meth/water mix, you should estimate that 60 hp is a good (high side) average increase (for boosted cars - not sure if it would be that nigh on a NA car).
