IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2004 Trader Rating: (2) | I just did a 20g and a bigger topmount, with all the other supporting mods. My problem is with the tuner fan, my topmount wasnt getting any air through it and I was limited to running 18 punds of boost. My tuner said that with meth I shoudle xpect 10-10 WHP. I would do the snow kit. Who else has done this kit and how much did it cost you total. Also is it safe, or should I just be happy with my 18 lbs of boost. Thanks. I run 30 psi on an fp red with meth injection and pump gas. When I ran an fp green I made 50whp more with the meth kit And lots more trq. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2004 Trader Rating: (6) | Did you get road tuned at all? This will make a significant difference on how the intercooler is working. Most alcohol injection setups are pretty much the same. Its a matter of preference. I would ask your tuner to see what he prefers. The risk with running alcohol injection really depends on how it is tuned. If the alcohol injection is used to make gobbs of power by spraying a lot, then chances are that if your system fails to spray while you are in full boost you can pretty much kiss the motor good bye. If you are tuned to use it as more of a safety factor, then you will see very minimal gains with it and if it does fail to spray then the car will most likely pull a lot of timing and not be damaged. If I were you I would make sure to get a road tune if you haven't. If you have then I would look to get a FMIC next. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2004 Trader Rating: (2) | I am very sorry, I meant to type 10-50 whp. My tuner is the best one is colorado and tuned th fastest subaru in colorado. I would use the snow kit with safe injection, this mean that if something detects that there isnt enough meth/water going through it, it automatically put your car on wastegate boost. What type of kit does everyone use, and is it boost related or maf related. Thanks. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2005 Trader Rating: (4) | I agree!!! Im looking at almost 100 Whp increase with only about 4-5 lbs psi increase in boost with 50/50 meth/water injection. Even if you stay at 18 psi like you said you should be looking at 50 + Whp increase I would guess... |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2005 Trader Rating: (4) | I have the alkycontrol kit, and a very well known tuner said that it is the best put together system he has ever seen. www.alkycontrol.com and yeah 10whp out of meth...that would not be taking advantage of the meth at all in a tune. You would probably get that by just installing it and not retuning if your still running a topmount. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2004 Trader Rating: (2) | Someone is willing to partially sponsor my car with Snow Performance meth injection. I will get 20 percent of any kit and I think I will be doing the stage 2 Maf kit. Does anyone else have this one. Thanks. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2004 Trader Rating: (4) | I'm running Snow's kit with great results. 422whp, 442wtq with BAD pump gas. I gained 30whp from my pump tune. Nice system and the fail safe is worth it. Its hard to beat the price on this kits with the options. When I was looking, it was the best methanol kit for the money that added safety. I had a problem with the fail safe module and I just went back to Snow's shop (I live close) and no questions asked, they took it back. This ad is not endorsed by this member.
