Default FYI for you guys running meth through old pumps

My old coolingmist pump has bit the dust due to meth usage. From what I gather, there are seals inside the pumps that can get damaged over time, in my case 8 months of running 100% meth. My pump is over 2 years old (used to run water through it) and they have been using a meth safe pump for some time now. This is not a hit on coolingmist, they use the same pump as everyone else does and I still wouldn't hesitate to buy anything else from them. So be careful, especially if your pump is more than 18 months old and you have been using meth.

Thanks for the heads up! Is your engine okay? (I've heard some pretty bad stories about the pump failing).

FWIW, I've heard of this in other systems too. A 50-50 mix seems to present no problems, but 100% meth requires a different type of non-rubber seal.

Yeah, the engine is fine. I PM'd the guy from coolingmist & he said you can run 100% meth through all of their pumps now, just not only the really old ones like I've got, so I guess I'll be ordering a new pump soon.

Just send the pump back to coolingmist and have the seals installed.
