Thumbs up

Sorry for joining in so late. Here are some good threads to answer questions for those who have more questions on water/meth injection. I hope this helps out.

Yes - they installed everything. They did a great job and Chris stayed until after 11:00 pm to finish up the tune. I even got a free T-shirt and window decals

I was very happy with the work.

It makes 6th gear very usable on the highway, that's for sure.

The car is s much fun to drive. I find myself getting on it constantly. I unhookeds the meth and ran the pump gas map for a little bit. Fun, but no where near as fun as the meth. Pulls like a freight train.

400 wtq FTW!

Wonder how long that stock clutch is going to hold up?

Speaking of which, what kind of power will it hold?

298 whp and almost 350 wtq. I posted a comparison graph in the dyno database thread.

Depending on prior abuse most stockers are capabile of holding 400-460 Whp usually...

I've been thinking hard about putting meth in my car, but lately I've been thinking alot about that extended warranty I paid for. I'm stuck in my decision at the moment, but 400wtq does sound pretty good.

The only thing I can bring my car in for warranty for is something like a power window that stops working. Anything engine related is my problem.

The tuner did tell me that the Subie ECU will pull timing if the meth stops working. He said it still might detonate, but I think I would have a very good chance of getting off the throttle before something went poof. Plus Snow makes a device that will evacuate all boost if the meth line pressure falls below a certain psi.

I have the same kit on my Mustang and I have never had a problem. I carry a jug of meth/water mix in both cars and always check the car's level before I go out. But I can understand why someone would be leary of running it. For me the reward outweighs what I consider a minimal risk.
