Replaced the pos snow controller with a Labonte maf controller and never had a problem since.

Funny,

Labonte was the engineer for Snow for years...I do like his own designs better though.

The Snow controller sprays when cranking the motor. Dan changed his design and added a delay.

It has the power up delay that you need. Snows boost maf controller is a knock off of our older VC-MAF that we do not manufacture anymore. One reason we changed the design over a year ago is because the issue you are having, false MAF signal on start up.

I'm guessing you're not on the stock turbo. This is why it's a bad idea to run an MAF based controller on a non-stock turbo. The problem you're talking about goes away when flow is based on boost.

I do have a stock turbo. It's good to have a maf based kit for a small and fast spooling turbo.

I don't think flowing based on boost is completely ideal either. With the stock turbo, boost tapers off, but its still flowing a lot of hot air and g/s. Alcohol flow should not drop off at that point. What do you set MAX flow at? 14psi?

I think flowing based on injector duty cycle works pretty well for the perrin kit.
