Snow Perf. kit. Has a failsafe, good boost control, and works great.

Did it fail while you were in boost? How did you know it failed right away? More details please.

This is one category where I feel you should spend the money. Aquamist all the way. Too many blown motor stories for me to be comfortable with the cheaper alternatives.

Or the ultimate, Hydra +Hydramist But for AP guys, the Aquamist is the way to go.

You can say that again, Steve is the man. He has replaced my pump with the new pump that handles meth (I bought an older kit used) for dirt cheap and threw in some free nozzles and new hardware while he was at it. He also tested out the used system I bought just to make sure everything was in perfect working order and good to go for free.

This is actually how I feel on the subject.

There are a lot of guys that understand this side of tuning top to bottom where I do understand a good deal about it thanks to all you folks on the boards but honestly I'm not confident enough and feel that there are so many variables that can go wrong which is why I'm opting for the high priced one.

To all you other guys though running the other kits; serious props to you and I mean that in a very sincere manner. I say that because you guys understand this side of tunning and feel completely comfortable with it all which allows you to get away with not having all the other crap that the higher priced kits have because you guys know how to prevent all the bad variables from happening. That's studly.

For guys like me though who don't know a whole lot about this side of tuning; I say take it all into perspective. If it's a daily driver that you depend on solely from getting you where you need to go and can't afford to have something going bad and it's the car you chose to buy, drive and tune to have fun, then picked it at the $30K pricetag as it was? It's not really a cheap car and is relatively newer so why mess around if you don't fully know what you're doing? The factory tires and wheels by themselves are what normal Impreza guys drool over because they aren't cheap parts so why cut corners on a kit you don't fully understand?

This is why I'm going this route and it's for the sake of piece of mind. I'm doing that with the Accessport Dyno Tune Monday and then doing the two separate maps; I can't wait!!! I'll have to post feedback after it's all said and done.

My two cents atleast; hopefully it's helpful to some of you who feel the same or are in the same situation as me. To all of you other guys though that are in the latter; please ignore this whole post.

^^^It looks exactly the same....

Labonte Motorsports makes great meth kit at great prices.

I had a Snow performance maf controller and it sucks... no power delay.
Replaced the pos snow controller with a Labonte maf controller and never had a problem since.
