Default Anyone use the Spec-C tank for meth?

I'm using the 4gal Spec-C tank for my water/meth reservoir and I'm wondering if anyone of you have done the same. I would like to know how you routed the tubing and if your using the built in pump to maintain a prime on the line to the meth pump.

Yeah, Im using the 12l tank for 50/50.
So I just plugged it in to the intercooler sprayer line and harness. When I needed to prime the WI back when it was first installed, I'd hit the button on the dash. Since then, its not required a push. I dont know if the "low level indicator" will work. I still have 2 gallons left after 3 months.

Hah... yeah I think the spec c tank is probably overkill. I still have at least 2 gallons left too. hahaha

I'm using the Spec c tank for my SMC meth kit. I sent the tank to SMC and had them install their pump and low level indicator in it.
I ran my meth line along side the fuel lines up to the engine bay. Works like a champ.

Is that the huge tank that is fitted behind the rear seats? If so do you ever hear the liquid splashing and sloshing around in the tank?

Yup its the huge tank behind the rear seat. As far as hearing it slosh I just put it in yesterday and haven't filled it yet so I couldn't say. Maybe one of the other guys here can confirm or deny the sloshing since I'm curious too.

I haven't heard mine sloshing. But, I have a lot of turbo noise too.
I don't think it is an issue though. This is one of my favorite mods.

I have the Alkycontrol kit and am using the Spec C tank. I have it full of staight meth and I removed the stock pump and just used the supplied grommett to connect the line to the pump which is mounted on top of the sprare tire.
The lines then follow the factory watersprayer lines through the interioir, through the same grommet in the firewall, and into the enginebay. I have the low water indicator wired up to the stock intercooler sprayer bottle and have that hooked up to the AVO boost dependent water sprayer. With the regular watersprayer (with water) I seem to go through the stock bottle every week with whatever boost setting I have it set at. With agressive driving, I've gone through the small tank in a day spraying water.....
I haven't been able to have my car tuned for use with meth yet, so I just have everything installed with the in line fuse removed. I don't hear any of the meth sloshing around- but my tank is full.... I can't wait for a another protuner to come up to Seattle, or I might have to take a drive down to PDX so I can get tuned and actually use the kit.

Im surprised people dont try just water first. For instance, before WI I could run 20-21psi with AFRs of 10.8:1 -

After WI (6hph nozzle +150psi pump) I can run 22-23-psi, 12:1 AFRs, plus 1-2 degrees more timing!

I'll have updated dyno numbers this weekend but before WI I put down 392whp on 93 octane.

If not just water, a 50/50 mix is ideal in terms of power. Full meth is expensive and VERY flammable.

I'm planning on eventually getting the Spec C tank as well. Not a huge priority.

it helps to have the weight more centered in the car too.

I'm currently using it for water spray but will eventually use it for water spray and windshield washer b/c I'd rather use my widnshield washer tank in the engine bay for the 50/50 walter alky mix i want to run.

Curious what they charged you to do that?
