Default Water Injection

Would it be safe to use the stock water line from the i/c spray reservoir with a water injection system? it would be much easier than routing a whole new line from the engine compartment to the trunk.

Thanks

I don't think that the stock line will put up with the pressure and won't handle meth, if you change your mind.

Water/alky injection requires high pressures to atomize and also to inject in an already pressurized system.
Without the high pressures, the turbo would push the water back into the tank and/or you would have an incosistent non-atomized stream being introduced.

You need to run new lines, the stock can't handle 150psi...

Can we use the stock STI water spray tank atleast so that we can still get the low water warning light and not have to place a new tank? I'm guessing all the injection kits would just mount right up to the stock tank?

Yea that works great, just need to tap one hole in the bottom and install the fitting and you will be good to go.
