chris i thought u had your own meth lab in your garage ... thats why u can never seem to remember to come hang out ... ok back to our story, i think u should go with a 50/50 or 60/40 mix ....the main reason for the water mix is to cool down the intake charge temp while adding the extra fuel .. how about u go out on the block and sling for an hr or 2 extra a day and just by a turbo upgrade next week

Nice to find another person with the same thoughts as myself
50/50 is the best choice in my opinion. I have heard that 100% meth can have an accelerated burn under certain conditions that might not be tuned for, wich would end up being bad news .

My opinion? If you want to up the octane, do it with regular fuel that gets metered precisely by the fuel injectors. Trying to significantly up the power by wafting stuff into the intake stream isn't the best way to be doing this - that's a better job for primarily cooling and added safety.

The main reason I'm going to use 50-50 (and not just water) is so the dang stuff won't freeze.

Do you have any idea which kits are not 'overly' built?

Keep in mind too, there are several kits on the market that aren't over built and fail easily when running 100% meth...just fyi.

^^ I'm not going to openly post my opinion on the subject b/c I feel some people might take offense to it.

The alkycontrol kit is built to VERY high standards, I can tell you that much.

What does one tank of 50/50 last you? 2-3 tanks of gas...or less? Is that under normal driving conditions or you punching it hard!?

Well, I think I'm in a different case. I've heard most people have their tank last them 2-3 tank of gas. Mine doesn't seem to last very long at all. Of course, I punch it a lot.

On the 15 miles back up to the shop and only hitting it hard twice with the rest of the driving very conservatively I was still able to burn a good inch off the top of the tank.
