Default Complete Bolt On Sti Meth Kit

I was wondering if there was a IWSTI sponsor or vendor that sells a complete bolt on meth kit for the sti. I coudn't find info using "search."

What kit do you guys recommend. I rather buy from a sponsor here than google every vendor that sells sti parts.

Any thoughts and info is appreciated.

www.smcenterprises.com about the best bolt on kit you can get!!!

They sell bolt on kits, but if you wanna run a Spec-C 12Liter tank they can also customize you a setup with that as well....that is what I'm running.

as far as purchasing the kit, there are many vendors on here www.gruppe-s.com and www.staticxmotorsports.com as well as others that sell that particular SMC kit.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread STI5150, but how long does this 12 liter tank typically last you? I realize that it depends on how you drive the car, but whats a ballpark figure? Also, I know XXtuning has some good meth injection kits for around $400. There site is xxtuning.com if your interested.

12Liters is a little less than 4 gallons.....the 1 gallon units usually last everyone 2-3 full gastank fillups.....It not only depends on how you drive the car but how large of a nozzle you are using, I am using the LARGEST it flows 10 gallons per hour at WOT. I'd say using the normal nozzle and driving "spirited" that the 12 liter tank will probably last you at least 2 months before it needs a fillup.....but the way some people on here take care of their cars it could last up to 4 months.....however if you don't drive it hard enought to empty at least a gallon a month then you'd probably be wasting your money on a 12 Liter tank since it adds $200 to the cost of the Methanol Kit

If you cant find a custom kit that you like, I highly recommend AlkyControl...aka "Razor's Alky."
http://www.alkycontrol.com
Ive been running that kit on my Syclone for a while, and its great. Many of the GM and Buick guys have switched from the SMC kits to alkycontrol. Give Julio a call and talk to him about custom setups. He is extremely knowledgable about the kits...he actually makes all of them himself. I dont know if he has an STI kit yet, but some DSM guys are running it now. Im going to go with that kit when I starting modding my STI.

Can you have a map for Alcohol Injection and run it only when you go to the track?

After researching the meth kits, i was looking to see if the meth kit can turned on and off or is the system constantly on. In other words can it be off (driving around town) and later turned on ex. drag strip.

I have a separate program for alky and no alky, but I find myself leaving the alky on all the time (because 26 psi on pump gas is insanely addictive LOL)

First, you dont need any mods to beat an srt4 from a light.
The good kits have their own MAP sensors that activate the alky at a selectable manifold pressure. The better kits also have adjustable slopes on the alky injection map (which is built into the alky controller) to increase or decrease the rate at which the alky volume increases with MAP.
