IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Im looking into using some nitrous to get a few more ponies before I change-up to a rotated setup. Has anyone here been using it with any success? Ive heard before the turbo drastically reduces turbo lag due to it cooling effects? How is reliability as well? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

Reliability depends on how it's installed, tuned, and how much you spray. I've tuned a couple STis with 50-75 shots and they've been lasting fine. I've done a few stock turbo Evos with nitrous as well without issues. BTW...NOS is a brand. None of these cars had that brand kit, but they were all spraying nitrous oxide. I had all of them get window switches except for one who had an AEM EMS standalone so I could control the kit with that. All kits were wet style with arm and WOT switches. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | That sounds what im looking for. I know NOS is a brand I was just using an abreviation people recognize. I acctually have a zex kit im thinking about using with the TPS for WOT. I have no experiance with nitrous at all so I was just looking for some input. Keep in mind this is going on a fully built/sleeved block. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
