IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | well i recently got my kit from coolingmist with the trunk mount option and as i was reading the instructions i thought about how much movement the mix will encounter as i drive up and down canyons. i worried about starving the pump as the pickup for the tank is located on the top part of the tank where the pump is mounted. if all the fluid is forced to one side of the tank wont it starve the pump and for a few secounds not spray meth in the engine and it goes too lean and then BOOM! I wanna know if anyone runs the trunk mount kit with any problems under fast cornering and boosting? Im thinking about running the pickup on the bottom of the tank or on the side somewhere. IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | I was thinking of using the water tank from the ic sprayer so that i can use it for the low level indicator and just selling the 1.5 tank. i noticed that when im going phill in the canyons and im using the ic sprayer the tank indicator will light up letting me konw if the tank is low. Have you guys used this setup in the canyons going uphill? |

| Iron Fisted | You never want your pickup at the top of your tank. You are correct in thinking that the meth will slosh around in there and starve the pump. If the pump is already mounted there, either get a new tank with it mounted lower to the bottom of the tank, or remount it. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | ^^^HAHA i knew it! I tested it by filling the tank with water and moved it around. the problem is that it is flat on the bottom and so the water has no resistance to the g forces and a normal tank like the water sprayer is bowl shaped which is always full no matter what g forces are applied.
