WOULD METH /WATER INJECTION

BE A GOOD FIRST MOD FOR A 2005 STI?

no and here is why. You need engine management(AP, UTEC, Engenuity, etc...) to be able to tune for meth. And Meth with a stage 1 tune would not yield as good of results as it would if you had a downpipe and were able to tune beyond stage 2. The stock cats are really limiting on this car. The best first mod is EM. Best second mod is a downpipe. Then the potential really opens up. PM me if you want to discuss some options.

Only reason i would say get a injection system first is if you live somewere that only has 91 gas. And run straight water to stop the engine from pinging under heavy load..

Otherwise flyingperformace put you in a good direction.
