Default Perrin progressive water injection

Anybody other than Matt (TheLimitedProject) have problems with the Perrin water injection unit? I also read some with the first batch had problems with the warning displays but got them sorted out by Perrin. Who's using it and have you had any issues? Thanks guys

Everyone that i know that runs the PWI-1 has not had a problem. Just look at the 2d aquamist system as it is the same system with little differences. Aquamist designed the PWI for perrin. So its a good product.

Are you running the kit? If so how do you like it?

Mine had that problem as well on first and 2nd batch of controllers, I just ignored early the warning and disconnected the fail safe. About a month ago it started indicating low flow at full boost. I backed off from doing any WOT runs. However a week later I the kit would not flow at all and just blows a fuse if I put one in.

This is after just under a year of use. My SMC pump from the kit before it failed after 4 months. Is there any kit out there that just works for years without worry about?

I've heard nothing but good about the Aquamist HFS-5. I'm leaning in that direction now if I go with meth
