Anybody know if the below APS TMIC splitter will fit on an 06 STI? I've never seen the piece before but MZM Performance has it on their website

Yes I read that but since the hood scoops are different on 04-05's and 06-07's I'm curious if it fits. Also I've seen many threads trying to find a solution to fitting the APS TMIC to other aftermarket splitters or modifying the stock splitter to cover the larger surface area of the APS unit. This seems like the easy solution but nobody is using it so I'm thinking it may not fit

Doesn't fit with the APS TMIC. The APS unit is thicker than stock so the hood won't shut. Could probably slice it up and make it fit but that's not what I'm going for

i was under the impression that it only worked with the 02-03 wrx hood scoop. Dont quote me on it though cuz im not sure

Just found it on DynoComp's website. Said it was for 02-03 wrx only but it did require an STI hood scoop to fit. I'm guessing that would be the larger style scoop of the 04-05's. Anybody else know for sure?

The APS air splitter is for the 02-03 and rumor has it small modifications allow it to fit years up to 07. However, they discontinued this air splitter.

I'm having a difficult time finding one used, or any splitter that works with the APS TMIC.

If anyone knows of one, please let us know!

friend of mine uses the zero/sports cool action scoop on his 05 STI with APS TMIC and has no issues. where is it reported to cut up the intercooler?

05 has the bigger hood scoop, which is what it's made for. It's for the 06+ hood scoop where it had to be modified because the scoop is shorter.

I'm making my own splitter at this point. The zerosports is nice, but it's over 2" too short side/side, and also short top/bottom for the APS. I'm looking for one the same size of the APS IC.

i just bought the zerosports cool action II splitter yesterday for my 06 sti. I havnt had a chance to put it on yet but i'll let you know how it turns out!
