Default Upgrading the Stock IC Sprayer

Hey I tried doing a search but couldnt find anything. Just wondering what can be done to get more water to spary on my TMIC, I am doing a DOM 3 this weekend and have a APS TMIC I usually use my sprayer alot especially in the summer just wondering if there is a way to add some bigger nozzle or more nozzles are any upgrade to it to get more water at it.. I now some people say it doesnt help but I believe it does help cool it down especially when your just sitting there in the heat.. Any suggestions thanks

ya it could be kind of a hastle, or u could get a shop to install it for u too...
wut halfelite is saying is that in order to flow more water (larger amounts of water) the stock water pump is too small and u would need a bigger pump in ur i/c tank to flow more water

You may want to go the route of a turbo blanket and building a custom heatshield. There is no way to stop the heatsoak on a TMIC with a little water. You need to fix the real problem of all the heat from the turbo first.

I would also think you would be better served to try a split the water line going to the air splitter and put another spray nozzle on the side of the I/C near the turbo.

Well I dont have a heatsoak issue currently I was just wondering how I can upgrade the IC.. I have a Turbo Blanket, heatsheild, everything is coated by HPC extreme coating like my headers and uppipe etc. I like the idea of splitting the water, how would you suggest it be done..

With a simple Y splitter from the help section of your local auto parts store.

Personally, I have no qualms about jerry rigging all kinds of ****. In fact, that's generally whats keeps my equipment running here at work half the time...lol
So if it were I, that was considering this... I'd look at windshield wiper-fluid pumps. I'd be that huge 12 Liter Spec C tank from sojdm.com cut an extra hole in it and run a high capacity wiper-fluid pump into it and seal it up real good. You could splice the tubing into the existing IC spray tubing OR of course you could run seperate tubing up next to the existing lines and add your own extra nozzle(s) as you please....
....probably too much BS just for the IC sprayer...but if you're feeling squirrely, try it out.

...That's how I'd do it....just my $0.02
