Default Stock IC w/ WI?

I've been planning to do a series of upgrades to include a Ultimate Racing 3076 turbo kit and an HFS-5, along with injectors/fuel pump and okata projects plasma direct coil packs. I originally planned to upgrade to a larger TMIC (Spearco or the like), but my tuner doesn't think it's really necessary nor will it yield much addl gain. His explaination makes sense, the WI kit will do most of the work so far as cooling the intake charge, but I wanted to get a few more opinions on this since I'm gonna have to travel quite a ways to get this done and taking it back for mods/tuning is gonna be a big PITA. Probably just run a 50/50 Meth/H2o mix if that makes a difference.... Also currently running a cobb Stg2 catted, K&N Typhoon intake... but the K&N will get replaced with a CAI with the Ultimate kit. TYIA...

I have meth (the HSF5, like you), and I still get the worst heatsoak... to the point where touching the MBC in the engine bay or the IC will give you nasty burns.

That's all still on the stock turbo too. I would definately go for a bigger top mount. That's become my number one priority ahead of other things I need to get.

If you are going to a GT30R, you should be going to a FMIC. There is no heat soak with the FMIC, and the spool difference is negligible.

Sold... probably do an APS D/R 725 or a 525... where do they normally locate the WI jets in this set up? Is either one more conducive to a WI system than the other?
