Default DDS3 v.8 Failsafe help.

Hello all I need some help setting up a failsafe that will drop boost in the event of something going wrong with my meth system "Aem".

If I set the minimal flow rate for the DDS3, and my meth system activates boost referenced- wont the DDS3 stop me from reaching boost because the system is not reading any flow to the nozzle Prior to boosting and then activating the failsafe?

I want to use a solenoid near the Waste gate that will open during the event of meth failure, but don't know How to set this up properly. I know were the solenoid goes and how to wire it but I need ideas setting up the trigger for the failsafe.

Can any of you guys ho know something about this help me out or at least show me examples of your failsafe setups?

Thanks a lot,
John

Thanks but kinda to late since I found an alternative way and ordered the parts. I'm going to use Turbo XS Performance Dual Stage Boost controller. I'm going to have a relay wired to it that will activate the zero boost seting when the Aem unit sends the signal in the event of failure so it will cut me off to mechanical boost. Even so in the future I think I will ad the DDS3 if I find it beneficial.

Thanks for your help

The dds3 is nice just make sure you get the most current card version. If you dont you can contact Aquamist they have the most helpfull customer support ive ever recieved. I finally ended up getting mine to work. After test runs i am confident in my system. I used my ic spray tank and ive been running meth DD for around 6 months with no issues. I sent of one blackstone and no problems so im not anticipating any. I went SS under the hood then switched at the DDS3 flowmeter to the plastic tubing... Tuned by Harman and love it. my 100 oct meth map is sick
