| Junior STI Driver | Looks like the lever for the trunk is b0rked... I took it to subaru, they say they have to put in a new wire , ordered it from japan and all, COOLL!.. So, they tell me that they are going to have to take the seats out, remove carpet, and the plastic trimming to get to the original wire.. and replace it..3 hour job.. NOT HAPPENING!!! i HATE taking my car for oil changes, let alone some dink ripping everything out.. Ill just use the key Do u guys agree with me?? This ad is not endorsed by this member. | Silver Member | yeah, I did the lever thing by accident once. Subaru laughed at me and said umm try that first. Apparently it has something to do with valet...If you flip the little latch, you can't use the pull thing and the valet key doesn't open the trunk. Otherwise if the wire really is busted go ahead and pull the rear seat yourself and pull the interior drive there with the driverseat bolted back in and let them fix it. Then put it all back in yourself. Then no worries. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
