| Amateur STI Driver | I have been returning my car to stock to make sure its still under warranty but something went wrong with my access port and for some reason my access port will not uninstall...do you think i should just leave it and try to bring it into the dealership anyways? If you're bringing it in for routine service such as an oil change I say don't bother uninstalling it. If you're bringing it in for a claim or to have work done to your car that requires the dealer to drive it, then you might wanna send the ecu to cobb and have them fix whatever is wrong with it before bringing in the car. Most people say the dealer can't tell if the car's been flashed or not but they can if they drive it and you have a boost gauge. I'd be more concerned with why you can't uninstall the access port. Did you make sure to connect the green plugs under the dash? Also don't forget the AP only lets you unistall it about 50 times. Seems like a lot but that can go by quick if you unistall it every time you go in for oil change, service, tires etc.... |
