Just got a recall notice

It says;

Your 2006 model year Subaru is involved in a safety recall because your vehicle could have been manufactured with an improperly routed electrical wiring harness.

That harness could have been pinched against the passenger front seat mounting bolt during production. If the wiring harness was improperly installed, an electrical short could occur.

Did anyone else get a notice?

Yes, i got a notice in the mail. It's already been checked out and that said nothing was wrong

I got that at the beginning of the summer for the '06 I don't have anymore. I wonder why they are staggering the mailings?

Old news. I have received it months ago. Went to the dealer, they did a quick check, not affected.

Had it checked yesterday. Everything is fine. While I was waiting, I asked if I could take the 08 WRX hatch out for a spin. Haven only driven a STi, I wasn't sure what to expect from a WRX. I have to say it was really nice. Looks much cooler in person and I have no complaints about the way it drives. I'm hijacking my own thread. Lol.

so the real question is..........would you give up your sti for a new wrx?
