| Amateur STI Driver | I had the strut clunk before and this is a completely different sound. When I put it in reverse to back out of a parking space or driveway or whatever I here a small clunk sound, then when i go back into first as I begin to accelerate i hear it again. Some times it also makes the same sound when Im turning sharp or slowing down quickly, but i can reproduce it almost every time just by backing up and going forward at like 2 mph. Its comming from the rear of the car... Anyone know what this is and is it worth taking it to the dealership to get looked at? I have an '06 with 22k miles on it. thanks jason This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

| Amateur STI Driver | Ok turns out it wasnt the differential but part of the axle on the rear right side. Said the right rear axle assembly was moving in the hub. The right rear axle assembly was bad and is being replaced via warranty. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad.
