Default Bearings replaced under warranty?

I tried searching but couldn't find anything.
Has anyone gotten their bearings replaced under warranty? I am getting pad knockback even on the street now. It seems like its a well known problem for the 04's to have weak hubs. Is this something that Subaru will fix under warranty? I am pretty sure they won't issue a recall.

I read that some people got them replaced under the 5yr/60k warranty but it seems like my dealer won't replace anything under warranty. Is there a fool proof way to get the dealer to replace them under warranty?

As far as I know they usually don't warranty it after the 3 yr/36k warranty. I'm hoping mine don't go out too, but it does suck for us 04 guys. Time for the 05 swap

I was thinking of doing the 04-05 hub swap but that is so expensive. I would rather just trade my car in for something else. The problem is, there is no other car I want right now. I would wait for the Evo X or 08 STi but I am not making the same mistake by buying the first model year again.

I'm sure if you made a good enough argument and didn't have extensive afterkmarket modifications and wheels with a crazy offset you should have no problem.

If you have non-stock wheels with an offset that is quite different than stock...you will probably have trouble with your warranty. The wrong offset can and will destroy wheel bearings.

Do a search; just yesterday I was reading about a vendor who was putting together a 04/05 hybrid hub swap kit. Upgrade the bearings, but keep the 5x100 bolt pattern, and the struts, etc. Should be dramatically less expensive than a full 04->05 hub swap.

Yeah I saw that. It's only a savings of $50 or so. It just makes it so you wouldn't have to get the 5x114.3 wheels, rotors, and shocks. Those pieces are no big deal to me since I can sell my wheels and buy some 05+ takeoffs for not much more. Rotors and shocks are something that I wanted to upgrade anyways.
I would also have to pay for around 4 hours of labor since I cannot do this install myself. This route is still very pricey.

I still have stock wheels. I was planning on getting some camber plates. Do you think that the camber plates along with the mods in my sig will be enough for them to deny me a bearing replacement?
