Default Trunk release switch stopped working?

Any advice or is this a common problem?

Before you do anything else, lets get one thing out of the way first. Did you set your trunk release to cancel? Use your key, open the trunk and then look at the switch and make sure it is not set on cancel.

^Definitely^

This happened to me over summer, and I almost ripped the latch by the sill out of its mooring. Don't be a n00b like I was.

Somebody probably bumped the cancel switch unknowingly. I do this all the time while detailing
