Default Those 4.4 litre jugs of oil.....

For those who buy their own oil for oil changes, I know the service manual says 4.7 US quarts is the upper limit for an STi.

You guys have seen those 4.4 LITRE jugs at autoparts stores - if my conversions are correct, that should be enough to fill to the required level during an oil change.

From practical experiences, are those jugs adequate? Or do you have to top it up using a bit of additional oil from an small bottle as well during your oil changes?

Thanks for reading

That calculation looks good to me. You should be well with the limit of needed oil in the pan. And there is nothing wrong with buying oil in a jug instead of individual qts.
