Thumbs down Service Sucked

So it was Wednesday the 22, the day before Thanksgiving. I called in for service and the guy told me he can set me up with an appointment on Tuesday November 28. So I go in at 8:00am (Really early for me. I get off of work at midnight) and he tells me that he can’t even look at the car until after lunch. 1:00pm. WTF does this asshole expect?? He gave me an 8:00am appointment. So I cut my losses and say, "I can't stay that late, I have work." He tells me come back Wednesday or Friday. He says Thursday is no good cause one of his techs is out.

So what does that mean??? If one tech is off all the other techs sit on their asses for a day????? That made no sense but I didn’t let it bother me.

So I go in Friday and the guy has the nerve to tell me that I have to wait again because he threw out my service ticket because I didn’t come on Tuesday. I told him, “You said either Tuesday or Friday… just not Thursday” He had no response. He just looked at me completely dumbfounded.

Long story short..... It took for 8:00am Friday to 2:30pm to resurface my front rotors.

I don't even race this racecar and the rotors are shot after 7500 miles?????

They didn’t even fix my clutch problem because they didn't have the bushing in stock.

Who can I complain to about this? I want to go as high up the Subaru chain I can.

That sucks to hear. Which dealer was it? I'm not saying you did race it, but you were definately doing something for the rotors to be shot at 7500 miles. I had to change my pads at 43K, and the rotors still had >1mm left before they ran out.

Universal Subaru on Northern Blvd in Queens,NY

The brakes would make loud squeaking noise when I would apply the break... but only when the car would roll back. I'd experience this during roll back waiting at a light on a hill or when I parallel parked. I guess that was the only way they could fix it.

I really didn't do anything hard to the breaks.
ie: Emergency stop from 100 to zero. So I guess they just were bad from the beginning.

I mean… isn’t this car a racecar that is supposed to be able to take abuse?? How can they give me those ****ty rotors??

**** dealerships......Just filled with tech's that could care less about your car. I'd let my newby friend work on my car before the stink'd dealership.....But I understand some people dont really have a choice. Im sorry to hear about your crappy experience.

No... A little bit once in a while is understandable. This sound is unbearable. It is ear piercing with the windows down, and extremely embarrassing. Sounds like the car needed new brakes.

The clutch just makes a sound like metal hitting metal. Every time I push it down. Subaru said it was a broken bushing. They ordered a “stopper” and the “stopper pedal.”

I dont care for the new service guy there.. the last guy i dealt with there was alot better.. Now its a bald black dude with sleepy eyes... If you dont have an appointment he is barely willing to even do a oil change for you. I got there at 1:30 and told me to come back at 3 no problem.

i got there at 3 and left at 4:30-5 for an oil change?

The other guy that was there was better

AHEM why are we paying people for oil changes.....thought we do things our selves! Oh and I would not go to any Queens dealer for anything, Kir if you want a oil change just buy filters and pay Sparkles to do it. Or pay me sucka!
