on an sti is it bad to change the oil and not the filter?

or do u haft to both to be safe?

change the filter. u bought a 30 thousand dollar car, don't crap out on the filter. ur saving money doing ur own oil change anyways.

its reccomemnd to change it everytime. but why risk the dirty left in old filter and mix it with new.
