I have seen the SAS Gold Plus help alot of people because mainly it covers alot of stuff the regular 3/36 does. You never know when something with the AC or a trim panel or something will break. Also you can get roadhazard with the GoldPlus plan too. However, many buy their STI for a reason and the SAS may not be feasible.

The SAS is the best extended warranty I have worked with as it covers about 95% of the same things as the factory one does. I have seen some aftermarket ext warranty companies really screw the customer. Half the time the customer is limited to where they can fix their car because the warranty company wont deal with anyone but their "cheaper shops". They only cover up to a certain labor rate and then make the customer pay the rest. Half the time it takes too long to find out if it is covered and when they can pay so the customer can leave. That is just the little stuff though.

i too have SAS gold plus which last for 6 years or 60,000 miles. i jus realized i could have cancellled the warranty about a week ago (within 90 days of purchase) and would have recieved a full refund.
I see that this has helped a great deal for some ppl. but that 1500 would be nice for some mods. I dont plan on keepin the car for more than 4 years. currently im at 5000 miles at 3 mos what have you encountered so far as far as maintenance issues??
An as a weird question kinda on topic would just a aftermarket catback exhaust be the cause of any type of vehicle failure or affect emissions?

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)).

With the amount of miles I drive my car is see no point in it. I will be at 100K within 3yrs. I have had no problems with the car (other then the rear strut clunk just starting, which I antisipated just a matter of timing) So I see it as a waste of money.
