Default Finally taking the car in for warranty

Well thats it I have put it off long enough. I am appoaching 33K and I want these problems fixed. Maybe Im picky but dammit I paid alot of money for my car.
1- Rear brake pads are worn to the bone last time the dealership said there was still usable pad. (now there toast)
2- Loud vibration and slight humming from left front wheel (Sounds like a wheel bearing) I already checked the balance of the tires to rule that out.
3- Excessive pulling to the right (Not sure if its an alingment issue or a result of the wheel vibration)
4- Rear trunk lid vibrates at speed (This one pisses me off If I hit a rough patch or a bump the trunk sounds like a rattle can it drives me up the wall)
5- Cruise control swithc vibrates. (This one combined with the trunk rattle makes me go insane)
6- Wiper blades are garbage and are torn. (When i worked @ APC I used a pair of cheap China made "silicone style" wiper blades on my 85 Suby and they lasted 3 years. No excuse for Subaru to cheapen on this item)

Well wish me luck when ever i go into the dealership for warranty issues I get treated like an Arab at a 4th of July party.

Just got my car back this morning. Here is what the dealer said

1- Rear brake pads are worn to the bone last time the dealership said there was still usable pad. (now there toast)
- Replaced rear pads and rotors under warranty
2- Loud vibration and slight humming from left front wheel (Sounds like a wheel bearing) I already checked the balance of the tires to rule that out.
- Dealership could not duplicate the noise did a complimentary alignment
3- Excessive pulling to the right (Not sure if its an alignment issue or a result of the wheel vibration)
- Dealership Could not duplicate the problem did a complimentary alignment
4- Rear trunk lid vibrates at speed (This one pisses me off If I hit a rough patch or a bump the trunk sounds like a rattle can it drives me up the wall)
- Dealership stated that due to stiff chassis of the STi trunk rattle is normal (I call BS)
5- Cruise control switch vibrates. (This one combined with the trunk rattle makes me go insane)
- Dealership stated that due to stiff chassis of the Sti the noise is normal. (I found a fix on scobby mods for this it was a weak spring)
6- Wiper blades are garbage and are torn.
-Dealership replaced under warranty

All in all I was satisfied to get my pads replaced under warranty. Its funny how the tech over the phone told me pads were not covered under warranty but when I dropped off my car I conveniently put a copy of the warranty in my car with the clause stating wear items are covered under warranty, the same guy replaced my pads and rotors under warranty (F"ing a-holes)

I am pissed about my trunk and cruise control switch it seems that whenever I have an issue with something loose or a weird noise they always say that the STi has a stiff chassis and its normal. I am getting ready to call corporate this morning in regards to my trunk. I will try to get a video so you guys can her the "Normal Noise" its freaking annoying. I have a towel wedged between the trunk to silence the noise for now. I am also upset that the dealership wouldn't fix my CC switch. I found a fix on Scooby mods and it took me 10 min to fix it myself. Ill make sure to tell corporate that. Do yourself a favor and don't use Subaru Or Riverside. The only time they fix anything is when I call corporate and complain. The quality of their service department goes hand in hand with Daewoo.

atleast you got the "expensive" stuff replaced for free personally, for the rattles, i would try to fix it myself. I would rather have myself taking the interior apart than some "tech" that don't really care taking stuff apart and making it worse

Just got the car back from the dealership today. I told them that I had called corporate yesterday and complained.Right away my car was taken in and sure enough. They replaced the left front wheel bearing, both front rotors and new front pads. As for the trunk they are replacing the trunk springs to solve the issue.
I guess from now on every time I have an issue Im gonna say that I already called corporate to complain.

all your brakes and rotors are replaceable under warranty so that shouldnt have been a hassel in anyway, so for you to show them was just upsetting that they needed that confirmation.

To what extent are brakes covered in the warranty? Usually they are a "wear" item, and not covered.... does SOA cover the STi brakes?

the 2 big wear items i know are covered in the warranty: brake pads and wiper blades. if pads are covered i would assume rotors are too.

i know this is true for 04-05s, i know some changes were made with what's covered under warranty on the 06s but i do not know what the changes are.
