Default What is done at 11,250 service???

I keep track of all my maintenance for my 06 STI on mysubaru.com. It lists that i am due for my 11,250 service, but when i look at the service schedule, it does not list there being a 11,250 mile service It lists the 7500 and 15000 services, but no 11,250 in b/w... anyone know what this is? Per subaru, 7500 is oil change/rotate tires, but I switched to synth at 2500, so I will do my changes every 5K (just did 2nd time).

It is suppose to be the recommended oil change for those in harsh areas (i.e. extreme heat or cold or those that are rough on the car). I myself get my oil changed every 3750 miles because it is so cheap ($15). Since you do your own oil changes with synthetic the 3750 mile interval services in between all the other ones are nothing you need to worry about.

I wish the service recommendations were tailored more specifically to the STi as I'm sure the frequency and things needing to be serviced would vary at least slightly from a base model impreza. I'd say going to 7500 miles before your first oil change in the STi probably isn't the greatest thing to do (although it's not going to kill your engine). I'm using dino oil for a while until I get more miles on the car.
