its not hte bolts thats the problems, you can always paint white over them, but its hte tune that your going to need when you do the downpipe. if they see a tune then they'll throw up the flag, no reason for them to see the tune less something drastically goes wrong and they need to plug in the computer.

running any aftermarket part will not void your warranty unless it is the directly related to the problem at hand. So you can run a DP and say a strut goes you will still be covered under warrany. However if you run a DP and you blow your motor then consider yourself S.O.L because they can argue the DP was part of the problem. Gotta pay to play..

when i took my car in for an oil change and a 5 point inspection, everything went well and still have my warranty. the guy said if it don't show on the computer we're not got to take off the dp and visually inspect it if it's catless. but i'm sure it varys at different dealerships.

Any smart tech could tell the car has been reflashed, all he would need to do us run a check sum on the ECU and see the values don't match stock flashes. Or he could watch the boost gauge and see there was something different.

YES.....stop trying to cheat the system. If you want to mod your car great, more power to you, but don't expect the dealer to pay for your "play." If you can't afford to fix the things that break then don't mod them in the first place.

^^^What he said.

FYI, unmarrying will NOT put your stock flash back on. It puts a map that will work with your ecu, but it may not be the exact same flash that came with the car depending on what rolling revisions took place when your car was made. It is still possible to check sum the ecu but I don't know if it would stand out as being a non-stock flash.
