Default 06 TSB Midwest and other? Motor Mounts

Hi guy's. I don't know if this is strictly midwest, but the midwest Subaru rep came down to my local dealership today, and my service manager asked him about the 06 Motor Mounts. The rep informed him that there was indeed a Service Bulletin out on the mounts.

Now this is NOT a recall, it's simply a notice, and from what the rep said as long as your 06 is NOT heavily moded, they would replace them without question. Now they both do know I have Stage II and they ordered my mounts Today. How far beyond stage II would they still order? I don't know.

I am unsure if this is country wide yet, but you might want to contact your dealer, and if the dealer still doesn't know, request they call they're regional Subaru Rep.

PS: I chose to start a new thread so this particular TSB could be discussed and found without searching through pages of threads.

I called Carter Subaru here in Seattle, and they told me that there was a T.S.B. out for the '06 motormount retrofit, but you had to break them first.... You couldn't just go in and have them swapped out as a preventative measure.
But, at least it is offically recognized by Suby now!

My dealer is doing it preventative. I guess it just depends on the dealer.

As a side note I've launched 5k 4 times now with no probs on stock, but still going to have the dealer replace.

I've launched probably about 30 times at 5k in my 06'. The last one did it in for sure. Thanks for the great info.

Np. I've got a buddy up here whos probably 20-30 launches with no probs but I'm sure it's due.

I spoke with the dealer today and my "mount" is in. Apparantly as part of this TSB it's only the LEFT mount they're replacing as this is the "Problem Mount".

Is it the left you guy's have been breaking? Just wondering, seems weird they would only replace 1....But I guess it's ok as my dealers doing it preventative and not post damage.
