Question How Many Of You Guys Have Taken Your Modded STIs Into The Dealer?

I'm going to be taking my car into the dealer to have an oil change in a week or so. Lightly modded, CAI and Blitz Nur Spec R CBE. Should I be prepared for them to void my warranty? I'm thinking I should convert at least my intake back to stock. What do you guys think?

I bring mine into the dealer all the time, but all I have is a turboback. My dealer is also pretty cool and doesn't care about the mods. If you're worried about it, take it elsewhere.

I've taken mine a few times, but not for warranty work...

if you are just going for an oil change they wont say anything however they might note down the fact that you got some mods.

I installed my K&N Typhoon before I took it in for the first oil change. The entire service area is behind glass so customers can watch everything they do. I noticed that the service manager took a good long look at the intake but didn't say anything to me.

it really depends on the dealer. One dealer i went to says they wont take any cars that arent pretty much stock, others on the other hand are happy to install mods and dont care how modded the cars are
