Default Void

I just had the local dealship void my warranty for lowering my car. I hada cv boot in the rear go out amd they wanted to charge me 240$ to install a new one. They did replace my ecu some time ago with out any problems. I told them that I will be buying another subaru just not from them.

can they prove that the lowering springs caused the cv boot to go? if not, then they can't void your warranty. and if they prove your springs caused it (which they probably will) your entire warranty isn't gone because of the springs, just your suspension warranty.

Tell them you want to her it from the SOA rep. Keep bugging them and raise hell until they bring the rep down as that is the only one who can void the repairs for that perticular damage.

I didnt go crazy because I can do it myself for about 55$ and because they replaced my ecu for nothing after I burned it up installing the tuner ( twice actually ).
