I don't know if there is any official SOA bulletins or anything on the situation. From what I have heard, so dealers have denied work, some insist they will only replace them once, some replace them with the 04/05 mounts. A local guy got lucky; he broke a mount, but some Group-N mounts, told the dealer it was from learning to launch/getting wheel hop, and the dealer is going to put the Group-Ns on with no labor charge. It is all in the dealer at this point I believe.

yes sir, i went to a good dealer and the left mount was broken, so they are replacing with 05s if your car is pulling you might have a mount that is broken, and they are composite so they can break from normal driving, everything is fine and im very happy subaru for rectifying the problem quickly. . anyone who has an 06 sti should get this checked out. . thanks for everyones help

Did you break it under hard launch? I have never heard of anyone breaking one under normal driving conditions.

There was a long thread on another Subbie forum where there were a lot of complaints of the mounts failing under normal driving conditions (means so quick acceleration from 4-5 and downshifting).

I am trying to get an answer from my dealer. I want these fixed BEFORE they break.
